VALSES

                     Née au début du XIXe siècle dans la ville de Vienne, la valse fit scandale pour ne plus être une danse protocolaire et favoriser, par la formation d’un couple de danse, des contacts jugés alors indécents. Mais ses mouvements enlevés et gracieux conquirent les esprits que le romantisme gagnait. La valse emporte les danseurs dans un tourbillon incessant, sur eux-mêmes et autour de la piste, qui les enivre du plaisir d’être ensemble.

                   Born in the early nineteenth century in the city of Vienna, the waltz caused scandal to no longer be a formal dance and promote, through the formation of a dance couple, contacts then deemed indecent. But his withdrawn and graceful movements conquered the spirits that romanticism won. The waltz carries the dancers in an incessant whirlwind, on themselves and around the track, which intoxicates them with the pleasure of being together.
