MADISON

    Pratiquée en ligne et en groupe, cette danse connut un vif succès aux États-Unisdans les années 1960.  Les 16 pas qui en composent l’unité se répètent inlassablement et sont totalement imposés.  Aussi, le madison est-il très simple à apprendre.  Un madison donne à voir des danseurs qui effectuent simultanément les mêmes mouvements et forment un carré qui se déplace régulièrement sans jamais perdre sa forme.

        Performed online and in groups, this dance was a great success in the United States in the 1960s.   The 16 steps that make up the unit repeat themselves tirelessly and are totally imposed.  Also, madison is very simple to learn.  A Madison shows dancers who perform the same movements simultaneously and form a square that moves regularly without ever losing its shape.
